VIGNOBLES
FRANCK DESPAGNE
Near Montagne, close to Bordeaux, Franck Despagne took over the family estate, originally used for cattle farming in 1699. Following in his father's footsteps, he saw great potential in the land and undertook major renovations and vineyard replanting. His desire to broaden the estate's wine portfolio led him to lease additional plots in the Gironde region.

Today, Franck Despagne owns more than 25 hectares of vines, spread across two prestigious estates: Château Bellevue Lapourcaud and Château Jamard Belcour.
But what truly distinguishes his wines goes beyond land and legacy. It is the soul of Saint-Émilion, a region with a rich winemaking tradition and an exceptional terroir, that breathes life into each bottle. From the silky softness of Merlot to the refined structure of Cabernet Franc, his wines embody the perfect balance between tradition and innovation.

Guided by a deep respect for nature and sustainable viticulture, Franck and his team ensure that each grape reaches its full potential, offering a genuine expression of the Saint-Émilion appellation in every glass.

CHÂTEAU
FRANC COUPLET
From humble beginnings, the MEYNAUD family has built a legacy rooted in passion, hard work, and dedication to the land. Over generations, they’ve passed down their know-how and love for viticulture, crafting wines that reflect both tradition and authenticity.
At the helm of Château Franc Couplet, they’ve expanded the estate from 30 to 160 hectares since 1995, producing wines with the support of an experienced oenologist. Every plot is intimately known, and the grapes are carefully selected to ensure quality and consistency.
Bearing the family name, Château Franc Couplet wines are crafted with patience and precision, regularly awarded in prestigious competitions in Paris, Bordeaux, and Blaye. These medals speak to their commitment to excellence—but beyond the recognition lies a deeper truth: their wines embody the very soul of the Bordeaux Supérieur appellation.
More than just a winery, Château Franc Couplet is a reflection of the MEYNAUD family's heritage—a celebration of Bordeaux’s richness and timeless craftsmanship, bottle after bottle.
CHÂTEAU LE COTEAU
Château le Coteau is one of the last remaining family-owned estates in the Margaux appellation. Eric Léglise, who inherited the vineyard from his father, brings a deep sense of tradition, passion, and technical expertise to every aspect of production.

Located in the southern part of Margaux, near the commune of Arsac, the estate holds the Cru Bourgeois distinction. Eric, a trained oenologist, has modernized operations while preserving a deep respect for the environment. The vines are cultivated responsibly, never treated with herbicides and the grapes are harvested at peak ripeness before being vinified and aged with great precision.

The wines, dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, are elegant and complex, truly expressing the finesse of the Margaux terroir. Each bottle reflects the family’s dedication to crafting wines of character, while honoring the rich legacy of one of Bordeaux’s most renowned appellations.
